As long as we’ve lived in Ohio, it wasn’t until this year that we decided to drop into Lovely’s Farm Market in Springboro one day on a whim. We’ve always driven by this adorable store, but recently wanted to get some farm-fresh produce and thought it would be the perfect spot. So as the summer was coming to and end last month, we went in for some sweet corn and peppers. And just recently, we came back again to get some adorable pumpkins and mums.
This little neighborhood store is loaded with goodies and cuteness – especially for kids!
This place has so much personality!
Check out this amazing antique buggy – right inside the store.
It blew Dylan’s mind when I told him about horse-drawn wagons years ago! (Mini history lesson while shopping for vegetables.)
In addition to fresh, home-grown produce, Lovely’s country store has locally-made foods of all kind…
… including meats, cheese…
… dips and spreads (and samples)…
SO. MUCH. CANDY.
Are you still hungry? Good. They have a Country Cafe & Bakery, too!
While you’re browsing, there are so many cute things to see…
So many Santas.
A cookie jar collection! (There’s Dad saying, “Doooooon’t touch it!”)
And my car-loving son went nuts for this die-cast car collection.
When you visit with your kids, don’t forget your spare change for the “money-go-round” (as my son calls it)…
… or the pony rides. (They have 2 horses!)
Can you see all the cute Halloween stand-ups? They also had bluegrass music playing from a hay-covered wagon that day. So very country. I absolutely loved it.
We had no trouble picking out some great pumpkins!
We got 4 for the price of 3, and played a simple and fun card game at the counter inside to see which pumpkin would be the free one. Our “mommy” pumpkin ended up costing us nothing!
After picking out a couple of mums, we were all set.
I’m so glad we decided to finally check out Lovely’s this year, and I can’t wait to go back!
Do you and your family love this little spot, too? I’d love to hear about it! 🙂
