With yesterday being so beautiful outside and my son in need of some new summer clothes, I headed to The Greene for some sunshine and shopping. (Of course, it was partly fun/partly a nightmare with a tantrum-throwing toddler, but hey – carpe diem, right?)
As soon as we parked and started walking along Cedar Park Drive, I popped into a shop I’d never seen or heard of before – Evereve.
These CUTE Mom shirts are what caught my eye and made me walk in!
I really love the 24 HR Mom tank!!!
As I looked around, the store had a super boutique-y feel to it, but the super-nice Manager, Katie, told me that Evereve actually has about 50 stores nationwide. (The Greene has the only Dayton-area location.)
They featured clothes from a variety of brands, and really trendy jewelry that’s made exclusively by Evereve. Put together, it all looked adorable.
I love the pink and orange shirt on this table! Very Tory Burch-y…
But here’s the thing, ladies… Not only does this store have trendy clothes for the mom crowd, it also to their kids!
Behold – a ladies’ clothing store that actually has a legit PLAY AREA! 🙂
See that very nice lady on the floor playing with my son? That’s Katie, the manager. Can you believe she stopped what she was doing to play with my son?! AND she told me NOT to pick up the toys when he was done! And I got to shop around while he was entertained?! I know, I know. I couldn’t believe it either.
And see that jar with the cups next to it? Animal crackers for the kids. And coloring books. And story books. It. Was. Awesome.
Needless to say, Dylan had a blast here – and so did I!
Alas, we couldn’t spend our whole day here, but before I left, I learned a little more about Evereve…
Do you remember Hot Mama at The Greene? That’s now Evereve. After a little re-branding last Fall, the refreshed store launched with a focus on “giving life” (which the store’s name means) and “to empower moms to be fully alive and to love the woman she is today.” The company was started by a mom who felt passionate about helping other moms look great and feel strong, and I’d say her concept is definitely working.
On a personal note, I have to say how fun it was to walk into this store. Like so many other moms, I completely struggle with getting stuck in the black-yoga-pants-all-day-every-day rut, but I can’t shop for trendy clothes without feeling like a total outcast. (Forever 21 doesn’t exactly cater to the stroller-pushers.) As cheesy as it sounds, I felt like I really BELONGED in this store! Having a busy toddler with me wasn’t a handicap here. They really embraced it, and that was totally refreshing. AND did I mention how cute the clothes were? AND did I mention how nice the staff was?! Win, win, win, peeps.
I did some quick shopping for myself (lunch time was fast approaching for Little Man), and I definitely need to go back soon for more goodies.
Here’s what I got yesterday!
Hard to tell here, but the white shirt is a tank. It will be great for layering this summer! And I couldn’t resist the cute, go-with-everything earrings.
Did you read the tag?
Please do yourself a favor the next time you’re at The Greene and stop into Evereve! I’m so glad I popped in. I know you’ll love it, too!
